| On the road from Banagher to Athlone you will find beautiful Ballinahown. This is a small fountain at the entrance of the village which has sometimes water shooting upwards so that it looks like the bogwood is floating. If you can zoom in close the natural wood shape almost appear to be bodies - reminding me of the famine years and the thousands that died here in Ireland. Anyhow - it's a bogwood sculputre in a bog filled county. :) |

Hi Alison, good image, another couple of inches above the statues head and it would have been a very good image....excellent contrast and fine POv...keep em coming please!!
