My Digital Darkroom

I'v been very, very busy with things that has to be done in time and that needs some time. I suggested this ScavHunt item so I had to post.
Not only because of that but also because you all amazed me with all the different kind of results posted in this SH item. Again, I learned a lot from you all. Thanks!

About my room:
I have a Digital Corner for almost twenty years now so I picked up some wishes how it should be designed. Many of my hobbies take place here, most of them photography originated. Every day I spend at least two hours of time here so I tried to make it just like I wanted it.
____________________________________________________________

Technical aspects:
"Zero decibel!"
My computers, part of our network, are under my desk behind a small hatch of the wall on the right. An isolated climate controlled area so they stay cool and free of (cats)dust. It also keeps the noise they make in that area so they can't be heard in my room (was my biggest wish!), now I can listen the birds outside in the garden or to really soft music.

"It's alive Jim, but not as we know it..."
They, and the lights, are all connected to audio, movement and software sensors so they switch on and off when I get near or after some time when I'm gone and there's no activity. I enjoy that every time, a "Just for Fun" element.

"No more QWERTY on my head...."
When I'm really tired I sometimes wake up in the morning here. With my head on my tablet so no worries for that day to go outside...

Postprocessing: PhotoShop, some L (levels), CB (color balance) and a bit USM (unsharp mask) and framed.

Conditions: late at night, using a tripod because of the low light conditions.

My Goal: Show you my room when I'm not there. I did not make it tidy for this shot, this is how I start and stop each time. I have to, because I sometimes just have to much things to do... don't we all?

Feedback request: I feel a bit of shame about the things I wrote in the note, my intention is to make you smile. Remember, two hours of my life each day, it has to be good too.
I hope I still did add some ideas to this ScavHunt item after seeing all the wonderfull creations posted. See you again, now you all know where I am.

Hi Richard, The photo is great. But i mis something, a big sigar and a glas cognac. Maby you do not drink that and maby you will not smoke a sigar, thats oké.
You give that room so warm colors.
Anneke

It was a great scav hunt item you suggested ;-) I love your photo! It has that beautiful play between light and dark that I love to see. Wonderful warm colours too. You are very organized :-) It's a pleasure to look at your desk!! It looks like a great place to work! I am going to add this to my fav. list so that whenever my desk is beyond messy I can look at yours and feel inspired to clean mine ;-)

Mooie werkplek, Richard.
TFS.

Great to see where you spend two good hours of your day, Richard. Hope all is going well. Having to learn to fly again.... Your office is cozy and warm. A nice place to be.....:O)

Now I can see where you sit when you produce all those wonderful photos for the world. How nice and tidy your office is. I bet you tidied up first like most of us did for the shot. It looks like a real cosy part of your home where you can totally absorb yourself into your hobby. I like the two wall lights and the design of the room. Very nice.

Wow great picture. Crisp colors and image here. Another TL member just told me there was a hunt for people's digital darkrooms because I just randomly posted one myself (too bad I missed the hunt). Anyway I like your setup and lighting here, very cool.

Richard,
