Eusebius-church Arnhem. Church wounded by Reformation and Second WorldWar.
This ceiling dates from 1526. The hanging object is modern.
I was there several hours with my little equipment; I could hang around a week although the church is rather empty.
The title points to the film based on Harry Mulish' great novel (De Ontdekking van de Hemel).

HI Huub, beautiful shot named after my favorite book of all times. I like the combination of old with modern.

Great shot,
Marleen

A title from a beautiful movie and an image, which is pictured in an exellent angle, what a beauty, Huub, really nice view !

Interesting object and POV Huub. don't know the book ot the film but if they are both as good as this I'll search them out!
Regards
Chris

Hello,
a really good capture, very nice cpomposition of lines. One might think it's strange to have an art-deco-lamp under a ceiling which is that old, but it works very well together, a similiar concept of graphic structure. I really like this one, thanks for sharing!
Guntram

love the angle, makes it quite surreal, (*_*)

It's very interesting how this photo creates a feeling of this scene being completely flat. The combination of colors is quite stunning.

Powerful image!

Hi Huub, prachtige capture met een treffende filmreferentie. Door de angle, de dominantie van het geel en de ornamenten is het opnieuw een prachtig gothiscg grafisme.
Bert

Wow, great "distorted" view. Took me a while to figure out what I was looking at.

Colorfull .. sharp .. special angle - well choosen POV
A tulip fot this photo .

Hi Huub,
Very good composition and interesting POV! Colours are great, and interesting lines here... Something looking like noise, but it may as well be the texture of the roof - Nice job, I like you mm cropping!

Pablo

Very interesting photo with good composition. I wonder why they have to put a modern lamp in there? Anyway it is very well done.

Thank you for your comments on my photo, "Bungee Jump". I appreciate it.
