The TF-436, called Masca Road, is placed in northwestern part of Tenerife in Teno Massif. It leads from Santiago del Teide to Buenavista del Norte. The road winding on the hillsides which extends from 600 to 800 m hight. Till 1960's there was no roads only paths to Masca.
Masca is a small village with about 150 inhabitants. There is one stone made chirch with small square infront of it. In the central of square is beutiful, wide-streching tree, which gives lot of shadow. Local childred use it to play ball and other games which requires some flat area. There are some small hauses, one cafes, two shops with sovenirs, especially with pottery and a small museum of local craft. On the end of villige is magnificient mountain cone.
Villige and whole road is just picterusque due to sorrounding steep hillsides. The road is very narrow, with small addidtional curves to letting passing cars to go back if nessesary. It demand some expirience and skills in driving a car but the views are worth to see them. |

I remember this splendid winding road and the lovely village Masca.
your photo was taken from a good pov.
IMO the colors are a bit too dark and the frame too heavy.
I tried to soften the image in ws.
