Once in a while I find something in my camera that just wants to be posted. I hope that you will agree with me on this one :)
These are Pinot Noir grapes, about five weeks before they're ready to be harvested for wine on the Jackson Triggs Estates.
the only change I made to this image was to clone out the bit of wire upon which they are suspended and to add my signature.
Thanks in advance for looking and for your constructive suggestions.

Wonderful Silke! Just beautiful light against these grapes! I also like the DOF, which adds a lot of depth to the shot! The almost sparkle! Nice work!

Hi, Silke. Wonderful capture of these delightful fruit. Excellent sharpness, composition, DOF colors and contrast. My grapes are not quite ready to photograph for at least a month. Nice informative note. CHeers and TFS.

Hi Silke.
Wonderful shot and nice composition. Grapes looks beautiful and very realistic.
Good work.

Best regards,
Alex

Those look so real, Silke...
with even that like,... dusting on the grapes. A warm sun shining upon them, lovely contrasts in color and perfect exposure. The detail is superb - down to the veins in the leaf and the perfect DOF to set them off. I love the different colored grapes mingled and all their variations in color. That's a calendar shot. Lovely work. Many thanks and kindest wishes,
Shelly

Hi Silke,
The Jackson Triggs is a delicious wine! I visited their instalations in the middle of nineties.
Excellent depth of field enhancing the volume of the grapes.
The colors look perfectly natural.
You must come back there for the harvest!

Bom dia Silke Force Lady of the Lens (LOL),
Not only your camera, but all lovers of wine... This is a very special capture of the queen from grapes.
Fantastic lightness and focus.
Great one.
Best wishes,
Raimundo

Hi Silke,
Delicious and special bottled wine called grapes :-) A fine capture the light is excellent and so are the natural colours. The composition can be improved in my opinion, the area on the right and bottom are a bit "empty". So I made a WS to show what I mean. Nonetheless a fine posting, looking forward to more!

Hi Silke

Perhaps I'd crop most of the dark area at right, & also from the bottom, for a tighter focus on the grapes? GB has nailed it, in his ws. Good dof & sharpness. I like the mixture of green & purple. Tfs!

Hello Silke,

Excellent capture of the grapes, I like very much the colors and light in your photo.

Sorina

P.S. I'm enchanted to see again your photo york.

Hi Silke,

I like the combo of green and black grapes. Nice contrasts. Nice lighting with shadows, etc... So many possibilities with this subject and you chose a great composition. :) Lisa

che dettagli
che qualità qua in questa foto
credo che l'acidità espressa dagli acini verdi sia niente in confronto alla tua
ma sei una fantastica fotografa
vedo che sei davvero brava

Hi Silke,
Mmmm, looks like ... well! And I eat it and drink a good wine from them.
Excellent image, congratulations.
Have a nice day,
Adrian

Hi Silke,
IMHO I would have thought that a tighter crop would have really made the grapes stand out even more.I feel that there is just a little to much of the soil showing. I do like how you have captured the sunshine on the grapes & the details & sharpness to. Have done a WS for your consideration, as it may explain better what I mean.

Hi,the colors and the light, which you handled perfectly with no highlight clipping, make this a most natural looking engaging image.Best regards Otto.

Hello Young Lady,

I really like your intro! It was a joy for me to read. I try to get around the gallery, but so many people, and so little time. I like getting points, but I wish we didn't have them. Maybe more people would share their thoughts about our photos. I'm new at photography, but I've learned so much from critiques.

Love the grapes, but I haven't tried the wine. Can you recommend a good one?

TFS
Dennis
