|shot in december of `06. my wife and i were shopping in shipshewanna,indiana and i saw this scene through the windshield on our way home. originally in color but it had a turn of the century feel so i converted to black and white with photoshop. bright overcast sky and a tinted windshield put me at f4 at 60th of a second|
camera is a sigma sd-9 with a 28-70mm sigma zoom lens.

Yes, great shot. It does look like you shot this one in 1910 and even the road lookes old. Difficult shot while driving.

Good treatment of B&W. The OE sky (high contrasts), grain and the inclusion of the man on the bicycle and what looks like a horse and cart, all give the illusion of an early 1900's historical shot. Shipshewanna, I believe, is one of the largest Armish communities in the States.
