Hi Tricia,
New England appears to be at least a week or two ahead of Wash D.C when it comes to fall colors. This is a very exact and lovely composition. I don't mind the central placement of the horizon as it adequately incorporates the well defined reflection from the still water and the blue sky and clouds. The color rendition is to my taste and does not look over processed. Your tech settings appear quite optimum. Regards.

Hello Tricia,

I have often wished to be in New England during autumn to experience the wonderful colours! Thankfully, there are people like you who can supply the image, until I can get there in reality!
This is just beautiful! The colours of the trees, ranging from greens, through yellows, oranges and reds, are an artist's delight!
The sky is an integral part of the shot and how lovely that the whole scene is duplicated in the reflection!

A fantastic autumn scene Tricia.

OMG!.....one of your best EVER....no doubt!! This is just amazing Tricia! he he (I'm giddy!!) This is outstanding. The reflections are just almost an exact mirror, almost no quality lost on the water! Excellent sharpness and details! B-) I love it!

Well, Tricia, you've taken appealing clouds, pleasant symmetry, ripening colors, and fine sharpness and wielded it all into a pleasing composition. I like the way you've cropped to emphasize the foreground trees and that amazingly clear water.
