Patricio.-

Isn't black and white great? There is something about it that makes it both timeless, but also creates a mood and makes a shot unique. Really wonderful rich tones here Patricio. I love how the sky has this strong gradient of dark-to-light from the top to the middle of the shot. Great detail, excellent clarity, and very good the way you handled the metering and exposure in this shot, the contrasts are wonderful. Very good point of view used here to allow that stone edging or wall to run at a slight angle across the bottom of the shot, and that balances very well with the building in the middle plane. There's also a nice element with including the people with the dog at the right side. Those trees just pop out against that background. Excellent framing and composition with the building off-center. There is some grain showing up in the sky, but it's not too big of a deal, it even adds a certain raw quality to the shot. Be a little careful with the contrast only in this case because the shadows and darker tones on the people are getting so dark that they're black. But really great shot, very well-executed. TFS!

hi, patricio
fine image and I guess in that light colors have nothing to say, so b&w is ok, too.
about processing, if you read my "intro", you'll understand all my images are processed. there's no photography without dark-room, I've been told a long time ago. and I don't take snap-shots.

cal
