I was driving to work on a sunny day and then turned west. I was surprised to see the dark clouds behind the buildings of midtown. I expected a big thunderstorm but we didn't get any rain at all. I took this picture through the windshield of my car. I was just glad I had my camera!

Hi Alli,
Great photo of mid town Atlanta. The sky is really impressive. I like the relfection of the morning sun in the Bell South building. Thansk for having your camera with you.

Hello Alli
Good recording of what you did see.. but Alli.. we in TL like to keep you a little longer here with us.. so..keep both hands at the wheel ok and drive safe!?? (^__^)
TFS a warm smile and bye

Hello Alli !

It pays to carry our camera all the time with us. (^_^)
Great catch considering you were driving passing a traffic light (^_^).
I think you were in automatic mode ( the camera not the car ....). Perhaps the bright reflexion of the sunlight on the building , did result in overexposing a bit the shot. I am humbly submitting a WS. Let me know, if it does fit more with what you have seen then....

PS. No change in the composition. It is a sad reality of our North American cities, All these posts and electric cables are really polluting our cityscapes.

I love this kind of light, thanx, well done, M, (*_*)

Hi Alli, be careful while driving!

Hi Alli

Excellent graphism & diminishing linear perspective. Good color & sharpness. Congratulations!

Hello! Right about weird the look! But not so hard to understand. The storm is in front, but in your back the sun is strong. I like it... Funny touch of colors the garbage cans into the left corner...But the arrow refer the cars... With that building of light as the piece of resistance... The eye have a good recreation!

Hi Alli,
A very pleasant D&S (drive and snap)..!
I have to admit... I do that myself, but so far I have restricted myself to highways and in low traffic periods...
A dramatic scenery in a well composed image, and your POV makes me feel I'm in the car with you... Nice job!

looks like a huge hailstorm is heading your way, better get inside . eary colours, thereatening look

Hi Alli,

What to say? Funny weather we are having over the past week, cold, hot, stormy, rain, yuk! We had tickets to the BellSouth classic for the weekend, missed both days because of the threatening rain.

I like your midtown shot of Atlanta, nice job!

Hope you, the girls and hubby have a nice spring break!

Good capture of this cool looking thunderstorm. We have had PLENTY of those this spring already. I keep a camera with me ALL the time. I just fear I'm going to miss a great opportunity. You got a good perspective here, a slight incline in the road and a I can see by the shadow that you just passed a stoplight. This photo has a lot of things in it, if you just study it.
Good job,

Hey, don't drink and drive! Errr... I mean, don't shoot and drive. Errr... with a camera, that is. Well, neither with a gun. Ah, well, ok, forget it ;o)). (Don't drink and critique ;o)).
I love that light, the effect a heavy dark-gray cloud layer gets when it is lit by a low sun. And the sun on those colourful bins. Well seen, well captured, Alli.
