This is another picture under "Rio by Night - with slow shutter". Ok, This is not a usual picture from my city, I know...

I tried to capture the variety of colors from this Texaco Logo. What do you think?

After I posted it I found interesting write about this logo evolution. You will find bellow a summary of it:

Created in 1903, The Texas Co.'s original symbol was a five-pointed red star based on the star of the Texas state flag, the company's home base at that time
After placing a green "T" inside the red star, The Texas Co. registered this logo with the U.S. Patent Office in 1909 as the company's official trademark.
In 1981, Texaco developed a new streamlined look, placing a red "T" inside a white star and red circle. This design retained the character of earlier logos, which featured a "T" within a star.
Recognizing that the public commonly identified the star with the Texaco brand, the company in 2000 introduced an elegant variation on its logo by dropping the name "Texaco" while retaining its streamlined star symbol.

I really like this one Alexandre as it brings about the dynamics of a big city. Always on the move. The bright commercial signs in the dark night. Never a standstill. Perhaps a tighter crop would have served it well. The star looks like a comet bolting through space.

I like this too, but the over exposure is a little strong, and i wish the pattern was more contained in the photo.
the texaco symbol is a good choice as it is a recognisable symbol round the world, and having it stop at the edge of the picture works well.
Good shot.
