my neice asked me to take a quick photo of hers, and it turned out quite nicely during post processing, originally intended as a black and white portrait - i added some lens vignetting in lightroom, some film-like grain in photoshop and thats it..
this is the original frame, i am not so sure about the composition here though, but am pleased with the grain and the vignetting and how its creating a dark circle around her...
the light source is the same, i.e. natural light falling in through the big sliding glass door right in front of her :)
let's see what u think :)

This is good! The light works well and the high-contrast black-and-white, along with your vignette, makes a striking and flattering photograph. You chose the light well, and your neice has posed well too, with an engaging expression and good eye contact.
A success!

Hey Muhammad...great portrait. You know the way shes looking at us and with her hand against her cheek almost as if you caught her attention in an idle moment, really shows us her personality, which is of a girl who is older than she appears. Composition is slightly off-center which is good, but I would have allowed less dead space on the right. Nothing cropping can't fix.
