It’s known as the color of the spirit and, in effects, it acts on the unconscious one giving to spiritual force and inspiration. This color represents the medium value between earth and sky, between passion and intelligence, love and wisdom. It’s the color that the greater part of the persons refuses..
The violet is a sensitive person, than feels himself different from the mass. It’s the color of the will to be various, the metamorphosis, the transition, but also of the erotic fascination. This color expresses a pure, atavistic energy: it’s a force tied to the vitality of red and the intimate acceptation of the blue. It’s an attended coloration and precognition (not accidentally comes used in the Christian liturgy during the period of “Avvento” and of the Lent), elevates the human conscience until the attainment of the pure light white woman. Also it is associated to the prayer and to the states of alterated conscience.
The violet color is one of the colors that come outside frequently in the designs of the children. It represents the urgency to express itself.

Hi Marco,
exstremely clear and beautiful space of violet, and full of mood of course. I especially like this tender color of pale violet.
in Japan since ancient times violet is noble color, people have been admiring violet as artistic and moody color. I think the reason may be that violet has two elements of blue and red. blue is calm, clear and sad, addition to depress. red is passionate, strong and delight. violet has these two contrary characteristics at a time...
anyway this air of the seashore with nobody in off season is deeply expressed, and violet sky and clouds reminds me fresh memories of many summers.
thank you,

merhaba my friend marco
wonderful beach and colours.beautiful blue sky and clouds.well done.
best regards.

good morning Marco!
Outstanding color and mood. A meeting point of the three elements - water, land and see. The see needs some rotation anticlockwise.
Best regards,

Hey Marco
You have made a absolute beautiful shot, great POV, excellent colors wonderful sky and real good mode. You have done very well. About the sunset, I dont know about the rest of TL members, but from my point of view, I like them very much, espec. because they are so difficult to make real good.
And you are right, it is tilt a "little" I think it is because your focal length, it can make some strange lines.
I have made a workshop, it have removed the most off it.
Your photo deserve with og without tilt a lot off points.
The best regards

Ciao Marco,

Sunset and sunrise are my favorite photos along with flowers.
You presented beautiful soft violet color sky here.
Nice POV and presentation. TFS

Hello Marco.
Nice beach shot with good light, but the sea level looks if the tunami is comming. Hope you kept it dry.

Ciao Marco, grande effetto prospettico e splendidi colori, certo che è più comodo fotografare i tramonti sul tirreno che le albe sull'adriatico:)
Bravo, ciao Silvio

Hi Marco: I really like the delicate colour of the sunset here ...even more than the very bright coloured ones .The Pink Huesare wonderful in the sky and water with a nice detail of the silhouette.... the crispness is excellent as well ...... thanks Roman:0)

Bonjourno Marco

Wonderful pastel sunset colors of violet. I would just level the sea horizon. Moody & atmospheric. Ciao!

Hi Marco,

The colour tones are wonderful, but the tilt and/or distortion of the sea in the shot is just enormous! A small part is due to tilting, though not all - since the umbrellas and life guard house is more or less straight. I think it has to do with the distortion of the lense. Around 18mm the distortion is the highest, especially towards full aperture. So, I guess most of it is due to distortion. Barrel distortion would not be so visible through the center of the picture, but more towards top and lower horizontals.

Have a look at the following page.
" At 18mm the lens suffers from quite hefty barrel distortions (3.3%) changing to strong pincushion distortions at 35mm. The situation eases at bit at 70mm and 135mm. "
Great link to learn more about the 'sweet spot' of your lense!

Greetings, Dennis

Hi Marco,
Indeed a nice coloured view the pink and purple colours are striking in this panorama. Regarding your p.s. Dennis is in my opinion right, the pictures shows quite a large barrel distortion. Neverthe less I like the way it is presented and it is coming along with a fine note.

I love the colours and mood of this image, the tones are superb.
I can see that you've shot this at a very wide angle causing some distortions and would have done a WS, but see that Jens has done a superb job on that already.
Fabulous image

Hello Marco,

Ciao Marco,

Ciao Marco,
questa me l'ero persa. Inutile dire che adoro il viola, e purtroppo non mi è mai capitato un tramonto come questo. Sull'inclinazione è gia stato detto tutto, ma lasciami aggiungere che i colori che hai in questa foto sono meravigliosi!

Ciao Marco
Amazing scenery...
very romantic

Hi Marco. A number of cameras and /or lenses produce the curve. A lovely image regardless with good colour and fine detail. A workshop if I may just to show that some digital image programs can fix that curve. or go close to it. TFS,

Ciao Marco,

This is a fantastic shot of the twilight. An excellent view point and various hues of warm tone are making the view more charming. Reflective light of the wet sand is looking interesting, well done my friend.

many thanks for sharing this image.

Marco i am astonished how much theory and meaning you can give to the one color!?
It could mean nothing to most of poeple..
You personality is amazing..
Did u studied philosphy?
Why u didn't became writer?
There is so many sh** writers , and u could could do so much better than those poor desperates!

PS. Wish u all the best in live, cos u deserve it, as u do now , enjoy and smile.

Hi Marco !
the colours in the sky are very beautiful.
Brilliant image quality :-)

Well done.
Best regards, Daniel

The color therapists say that putting some violet in your life helps you to better use your imagination, even re-balance your life, or remove obstacles, also to calm overactivity, and to energize from depression...
I wish that this theory were that easy to put in practice... :))) But one thing is certain!
Seeing your shot I remember that...
"Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around." ;)
p.s. Did you see "Vanilla Sky"?
