The pride of Nieuwoudtville
 |
|
| [Normas para las notas] Notas del fotógrafo |
| These tiny bright blue flowers are commonly known as the Pride of Nieuwoudtville - named after the small town that is fast becoming world famous (if not already) for its wild flowers and which is sometimes also referred to as the "Bulb Headquarters of the world". Numerous bulbous flowers bloom near this small town in spring and some throughout summer. They are part of numerous varieties of wild flowers of Namakwaland. Enjoy! |

Goede morgen Wia.
Beautiful little wildflower you shows here.
It looks as the little 'Siberian flowers' we have in our garden.
Nicely presented and interresting note.
Have a sunny day.

Hello Wia
I really like this vibrant blue colour of these flowers. Stunning! They remind me (colourwise) of the alpine gentian flower.
Kind regards and TFS,
Martyn

Hi dear Wia,
beautiful compo of lovely wild flowers.I liked diagonal presentation.TFS.Necla.:)later.
Hi Wia, very similar also to the Blue Leschenaultia
(Leschenaultia biloba) of South West Western Australia. A pretty blue which contrasts well with that arid earth. TFS,
David
