Quite recently captured - one of the first green fields this spring - after a short heavy spring rain.

Post-processing: contrast added and colors enhanced + I added some transparent rays of sunlight and some transparent clouds. There were a bit of clouds in the photo but I seemed a bit empty in the area between the trees and the clouds up high in the sky - and I was feeling a severe lack of sun-rays to shine on the lighted zones of grass (unfortunately after the rain the sunrays were shining bright, but too high in the sky to get into the capture) :)

This is a very refreshing and pretty image. The green and blue and tree line really do have the feel of early Spring.
I think one of the things about just passed rain is the way the sunlight hits the wet objects and how the droplets intensify the colors a bit.
I took a crack at replicating that in the workshop to see if I could get closer to what you were trying to get/describe.
See what you think, but anyway, thanks for sharing this wonderful image.
