This is my another shot of grasshopper while experimenting macro. I really bad in searching the correct “ID” of my macro object. I really appreciate anyone knows will share the correct one.

I wish to hear a comment/critique to help me improvise my photography perceptive. Thank you for your kind visit.

Regards,

Ruslan

Ulnah bosku...
Assalamualaikum

What gives you a very good impact here is how you made the diagonal lines touching the corners of your frame - that's cool work my friend. A very interesting creativity and idea indeed. Nice color richness, particularly the lovely greens and good details and sharpness. Hey... the grasshopper is pretty small my friend! You must be proud of getting the detail here - though it could even be done better, this is a very good result for early experimental work (that will bring you positive improvement).

You also titled this perfectly as your subject is almost camouflaged. I envy you for having such a heavenly place to enjoy photography at your yards and surroundings!! I did see your raw work and they are really impressive stuff. Looking forward for more...

Greetings Ruslan,A perfect composition, with a nice soft DOF that does not compete with the main subject. This is a very detailed sharp macro,I would think it was not an easy task, to capture all the varying green hues. The green of the grasshopper stands out from the green of the leaf, even though both objects are very similar in color tone, not an easy task, you did it well. The grasshoppers antenna's balance with the leafs lines.I don't know how you could have improved
this image,I would suggest a little more space at the top ,so if you were to matt & frame the image you would have room to have all of the image in the frame, you may loose a little of the antenna if you were to frame it.
Great job.

Ron

Hie Ruslan,

This is a very sharp shot by just using the 18-55mm lens. Did you crop it after getting a shot?

TFS,
Hong
