Well Marco, I'm not always a big fan of heavy postprocessing, but I think you did a brilliant job here. Excellent balance between the external chaos and the peace of mind of your model. Your postprocessing not only looks flawless to me, I also think it is functional and, thus, 100% effective. Lovely colour combinations as well.
Thanks for also showing the initial photo, which already was a good one by the way...

Impressive and glorious hymn at the Beauty! This is a very creative and artistic work!

However, the colors seems a bit flat and I don't find, on this image, the light you give generally at your photos!
I propose so humbly a WS. Your original version would make better.

everything even the bigbang are simply in our imaginations,
in my feeling, both physical and mathematical imaginations are simply continuing our imaginations in common life.
then, what about our artistic imaginations?
in my feeling, those are now free and chaotic, there are everything possible and no exemplary criterions. it is good and bad, it is not good and not bad, indeed.
anyway, in this Dali-ish sur-space, only her image is clear and vivid,
maybe all are simple frame, mere circumstance and tasteful decoration for her, for her image in you.
a shining memory can be remained after the end of this universe???...
if the end of the cosmos time that we imagine now is simply in our imaginations, I can imagine after it and before it tomorrow.

Love this Marco - you are getting quite adventurous with your ps work. Nice homage to one of my fave painters. Great portrait!
This goes beyond post-processing: it is digital art and as far as photography goes, in a category on its own. Anybody can click a picture with todays technology in foolproof digital cameras, but such pp work takes skill beyond just pushing a few buttons in a pre-set program, and thats what distinguishes it!

Marco, a GREAT attempt at post modernism art as homage to Salvador Dali. Thank you for trying to describe why and what you did to this photograph and it's meaning to you. It could mean so many different things to others that view it, as is my interpretation. But those are only personal interpretations, possibly not what you intended. All that said and done this photograph deserves at least a five-foot by four-foot print space in a gallery. Wonderful image!!!
