My fate cries out,
And makes each petty artery in this body
As hardy as the Nemean lion's nerve.
Still am I call'd. Unhand me, gentlemen.
By heaven, I'll make a ghost of him that lets me!
I say, away! Go on; I'll follow thee.

Exeunt Ghost and HAMLET

He waxes desperate with imagination.
Let's follow; 'tis not fit thus to obey him.
Have after. To what issue will this come?
Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
Heaven will direct it.
Nay, let's follow him.
Kronborg Castle in Elsinore, at the seaward approach to The Sound Øresund, is one of northern Europe's most important Renaissance castles. Known all over the world from Shakespeare's Hamlet, it is also the most famous castle in Denmark and is visited each year by about 200,000 Danes and tourists.

Frederik II's Kronborg is both an elegant Renaissance castle and a monumental military fortress surrounded by major fortifications with bastions and ravelins. Some of the historical rooms house collections of Renaissance and Baroque interiors, and among the most important attractions are the 62-metre long ballroom, the wonderfully preserved chapel and the statue of "Holger the Dane".

So everybody, another view of Kronborg, a more postcard one ;) I adjusted levels, hues and brightness/contrats, since the weather is always funny in this place... Hope you enjoy the view, and the play :)
Off to Oslo tonight so see you all on Tuesday!

Hi Stefania

Superb pov, color & sharpness. I like the graphism of the buildings against the blue sky.

WOW Stef! Thats Sharp! I love the colors.... There they are ... The Red... The Green... The Blue and all the various colors that bright up the scene. The noise is evident though but I dont mind when it comes to this wonderful shot :) I love the blue of the water... Wonderful POV! :) TFS :)

Take care...
- Hima.

Lovely scene Stef, and nicely coupled with the Hamlet quotation - takes me back to my high school English classes. Nice colours and I like the water in the foreground to give us a sense of the location.

Amazing shot Stef, I love the vivid colors, the overall well balanced lighting, the excellent composition and fine detail.
Your great!

Hi Stef, always interesting and versatile, tfs, (*_*)

Belíssimo cartão postal Stef
Sim, quem conhece Shakespeare's Hamlet se lembra desta foto. Você pôde tirar algumas fotos do interior? Pela descrição que você nos passa, deve ser maravilhoso o interior deste castelo.
Parabens pelo cartão e pelo seu trabalho.
Te aguardo com novos trabalhos.

the colors here are so rich Stef
were you on a boat for this shot
or using zoom across the water?
either way it's a nicely presented "psotcard"
i like those kind of shots
enjoy yourself :-)

Excellent work on the colors here Stef , looks great with a very good composition !

uhm ! okay ... have a nice trip :-)
great note, the photo is so-so

Yes, indeed the clqssic postcqr view of the famous castle from where I grew up. But always nice to see. And you did manage to get lovely strong colours in that can often be found around Elsinore - although some might say that you oversaturated a bit. But isn't that what postcards are often about?
