Tighter cropping per critique (original with entry door). I think the cropping makes it a stronger photo. I should probably work on the wood. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Horse at stables adjacent to Umstead State Park. I like the composition. I don't like the way the horse is being kept.

Hi Randy
Here I wanted to enhance the mood of loneliness much more and your picture had a great potential for this. First I cropped the picture (the original version) tighter in order to place the horse's head in the lower left point, made it as much straight as i could, enlarged. Then added the radial b/w fill gradient with Overlay blending mode to darken the corners. Then corrected the cool tint, levels, brightness/contrast, saturation. Burned some wood in the center, saturated the red ropes and horse's skin with sponge tool. Sharpened and added frame.

Steps
1. Adjusted the Input level for the red channel, to remove the blue tinge.
2. Applied a slight unsharp mask.
